Across the pond, Lake Golf Balls are providing an excellent service with their many offerings of used golf balls. They stock all of the top brands, as well as some more budget-orientated balls, batching them in variable sizes with really generous prices.

Nick Lomas is the founder of GolfSpan, an avid golfer, not quite a pro but has over 15-years of experience playing and coaching golfers from all over the world. His mission is to bring the golfing community a better experience then it comes to choosing the right golf gear, and finding the right set up for your game.

The Golf Ball Company provides free personalization on a great selection of Titleist, Callaway, Nike, TaylorMade and Bridgestone Used Golf Balls all 50% to 80% below retail prices. Because all golf balls are used after just one hit.

All golf balls have dimples to help them fly. They are not uniform, however. Balls will differ in size, dimple pattern, and even shape. These alterations affect the stability, rate of spin, and distance that you can hit. A completely smooth ball would only travel about half as far as a dimpled golf ball.

The core of a golf ball is what drives compression. Higher compression golf balls are generally for more experienced golfers with faster swing speeds. If you are a beginner or your speed of swing is naturally slower, a lower compression ball can add distance to your shots.

There are two main types of golf ball covers: Balls covered with an ionomer resin are the most durable and offer a lower rate of spin when teeing off. Urethane-coated golf balls are common on the pro circuit. Pro players use them for an increase in control and a soft hit.

Two-piece golf balls are usually the best choice for high-handicap golfers because they tend to work well for those with slower swing speeds. The larger core maximizes distance while minimizing back- and side-spin and movement. Also, the cover is a bit thicker than in other styles of balls, which gives a two-piece ball more durability. If you find that your golf shots are too often leaving you with a sliced cover, or you occasionally knock a shot off a rock or tree, you'll appreciate the extra resilience a two-piece ball provides.

Multi-layer balls come in a three- or four-layer designs. They are constructed with a mantle layer of rubber windings around a smaller core and a thinner cover is that enhances control and feel. They are also called tour balls because pro players on the PGA Tour use them almost exclusively. Many mid-to-low handicap amateurs with faster swing speeds also favor a multi-layer tour golf balls.

While pawn shops are generally great places to sell used sports equipment, they are not great for selling golf balls, unless you want to sell used golf balls in bulk you may get lucky or you have rare and collectible golf balls.

Search for golf balls at yard sales, pawn shops, flea markets, or any other nearby retailers. (Consider asking friends and family members, too.) You can even buy used balls from some of the sites listed above. Feel free to resell them locally or through the Web.

Used golf balls arrive at our facility in Tennessee almost every day and in EVERY condition you can imagine. Some have only been hit once or twice or used on just couple of holes. Others have spent a month or so in a pond.

Sorting is kind of complicated as we must get rid of bad balls, divide the good balls by grade and further divide by application (Driving Range/Practice vs Competition).

This is the only gradation we sell for used competition golf balls. You play these balls...they are not meant for driving range practice. they are meant to save you money as they are priced WAY below retail.

Our Range / Practice golf balls are for practice on the driving range. These balls typically have stripes on them, logos, or the word PRACTICE stamped on them. We carry FOUR grades of these balls: A B C and D.

These golf balls are the highest quality used golf ball in the marketplace. They are like new and will feel and play as a new golf ball would. Its shading is excellent. This mix may HAVE corporate LOGOS* and player pen markings, but NO cuts or NO scuffs.*Percentage varies anywhere from 0% to 100% logo balls depending on inventory.

Good range balls. Stripes and shine are starting to wear down. You might notice cosmetic flaws wear. Still very playable, expect tanning on some golf balls of this grade. Logo will be on some golf balls depending on our inventory.

This is the last date these golf balls will go on. These babies are priced to MOVE so when you lose them, nobody is going to care. Great for hit-away situations or on ranges where ball retieval is difficult. Many of this D Grade are sold for knocking off the boat or pier and into the lake. These are NOT pretty...but we sell a LOT of them as they are a great value! We try to clean them but some may be a bit dirty. Don't be amazed if you can't tell who manufactured them!

All balls we sell are washed, clean, and hand sorted by REAL PEOPLE (not machines) at our facility. Scuffed, cut, bruised, and split balls are discarded. Unless otherwise noted, there is a good possibility the balls you order will have marker and/or logos on them. Also, since people make mistakes, some orders might have a few wrong ball in the box. It just happens.

The team at Golfball Monster will buy used golf balls..and we buy them from all over the USA. We buy used golf balls from country clubs, municipal courses, ranges, maintenance workers, home owners, pond runs, or anybody who has a large quantity of used golf balls. From Titleist to Pinnacle, from Mint to D-Grade, we will offer you a price for your used golf balls and hopefully make you a deal.

If you have at least eight-thousand golf balls that you would like to sell, please give Jim Johnson a call at: (805)-208-9903. If you have 8,000 or more golf balls in any condition, chances are we will buy them.

Lost Golf Balls is an absolute gem. They provide the best golf balls at the best price compared to other used golf ball companies. On top of that, they have the best customer service. They also provide lots of different flash deals, especially during big PGA tour golf tournaments. I would always wait for one of their 20%-25% off sales on everything before purchasing. As a new customer, you can typically grab a big discount as well, just use the code they list on their website.

The balls from LostGolfBalls all came in sturdy purple bags, each strong enough to hold many dozen at a time. There were some markings on the AAAA balls, as expected, but other than that they looked phenomenal.

There are lots more 50-100 lots of golf balls that you can check out. I would recommend staying in the AAA-AAAA ranges of golf balls, as they offer the best value. A couple very small blemishes or markings are not going to make a significant impact on golf shots anyway.

A recycled ball on the other hand is a ball found on the golf course and resold in the condition that is was found. The seller will more than likely clean it with some soapy water and a towel but you're getting a ball that hasn't been altered other than by nature.

Refurbished golf balls are sandblasted by the company that purchases/finds the, In the sandblasting process, a fraction of the cover is stripped away to remove all exterior scratches. After the sandblasting process, they then paint the cover with a glossy finish and restamp the ball with the desired brand and model.

A lot of guys complain about other peoples Sharpie markings or corporate logos on recycled golf balls. But if you're buying used golf balls, that's like getting free ice cold beer and complaining that it's not your favorite brand. Just take it and run!

Now is that ball with the Pro V1 stamp on it, really a Pro V1? In other words, did they sandblast and repaint another brand and trick you into buying a fake Pro V1 by stamping it with Pro V1? Those are the questions I ask myself which means I don't recommend playing refurbished balls.

The refinished and repainted covers of the refurbished golf balls wear off and reveal the worn out old cover underneath pretty quickly. In terms of performance, they'll perform similarly to a new ball if they're not too old or too waterlogged, but how can we know what condition they were in before they were repainted? And is that Pro V1 really a Pro V1?

Recycled balls perform very well and it's easier to see what condition they're in before you hit one! You'll noticed immediately if the cover has been worn away by the sun or water. In general, with the huge demand for used golf balls, lost balls don't spend too long in the water or the woods. There's always someone finding them and reselling them so you can bet on them performing very close to a new ball.

Are you a high or mid handicapper who doesn't lose many balls? Buy new and get the best you can afford to maximize your performance. Check out my guide for high handicappers here and mid handicappers here.

I hope I've convinced you to avoid playing refurbished golf balls and are more comfortable teeing it up with a second hand ball that's merely been cleaned with some soap and water. Don't overthink it - if you like new balls play new balls. If you want to save a few bucks and you're prone to losing a few, feel happy in your decision to play second hand!

Our Buying Process:At Golfballs.net, we pride ourselves in a hassle-free buying process that is trustworthy and safe for all involved. Once we've connected with you, we will discuss the minimum number of balls we accept, the pricing model and how we come to our offering price. Once all parties agree we will talk about the best method in receiving the golf balls, whether they will be shipped to us or dropped off at our local store. 041b061a72
