Do Chehre 2 Full Hd Movie 1080p

Do Chehre 2 is a sequel to Do Chehre, a 2015 movie that starred Suniel Shetty, Raveena Tandon, Shatrughan Sinha, and Farah Naaz in lead roles. The sequel features Emraan Hashmi, Krystle D'Souza, Amitabh Bachchan, and Rhea Chakraborty in new roles. The movie is directed by Rumi Jaffery, a veteran filmmaker who has also written the screenplay and dialogues. The movie was released on June 9, 2023, on the OTT platform Zee5. The movie has a runtime of 2 hours and 15 minutes and is rated U/A by the CBFC.

The movie follows the story of two strangers, Aditya (Emraan Hashmi) and Anjali (Krystle D'Souza), who meet in a car accident and discover that they have a connection that goes beyond their present lives. They are haunted by the memories of their past lives, where they were involved in a conspiracy that led to their deaths. They also realize that they are being targeted by a mysterious man (Amitabh Bachchan), who knows their secrets and wants to kill them. As they try to unravel the mystery of their past and present, they face many dangers and challenges that test their love and trust for each other.

The Story of Do Chehre 2

The Premise

The movie begins with a flashback scene, where we see Aditya and Anjali in their previous lives as Rajesh and Naina, two journalists who were working on an expose about a corrupt politician (Shatrughan Sinha). They had obtained some evidence that could prove his involvement in a scam, but before they could publish it, they were attacked by his goons and killed in a car explosion.

Fast forward to the present day, where we see Aditya and Anjali as two strangers who have no memory of their past lives. Aditya is a successful businessman who is engaged to Rhea (Rhea Chakraborty), the daughter of the same politician who killed him in his previous life. Anjali is a doctor who is married to Karan (Siddhanth Kapoor), a police officer who is secretly working for the politician. Aditya and Anjali meet in a car accident, where they are both injured and taken to the same hospital. There, they start having flashes of their past lives and feel a strong attraction towards each other.

They soon realize that they are not the only ones who remember their past lives. There is also a mysterious man (Amitabh Bachchan), who calls himself Mr. X, who knows everything about them and their past. He contacts them through phone calls and messages, and tells them that he is the one who orchestrated their meeting in this life. He also tells them that he has a motive for doing so, which he will reveal later. He warns them not to trust anyone, especially their partners, who are working against them. He also tells them that he will kill them if they don't follow his instructions.

The Twist

The movie has a major twist that changes the whole perspective of the story. It is revealed that Mr. X is none other than Rajesh's father, who was also a journalist and an activist. He was the one who had originally uncovered the politician's scam, but he was killed by him before he could expose it. He had also witnessed his son's death, which shattered him emotionally. He then decided to take revenge on the politician and his associates by using his knowledge of reincarnation and astrology. He found out that Rajesh and Naina had reincarnated as Aditya and Anjali, and he manipulated their destinies to make them meet again in this life. He also found out that Rhea and Karan were the reincarnations of the politician's son and daughter-in-law, who were also involved in the scam and the murder. He planned to use Aditya and Anjali as pawns to expose and destroy the politician and his family.

The twist is surprising and intriguing because it shows that Mr. X is not a villain, but a victim of injustice and grief. It also shows that Aditya and Anjali are not just lovers, but also partners in crime. It also raises some ethical questions about the concept of karma, reincarnation, destiny, and free will.

The Ending

The movie ends with a climactic showdown between Mr. X, Aditya, Anjali, Rhea, Karan, and the politician. Mr. X reveals his identity and motive to everyone, and confronts the politician with the evidence of his scam and murder. He also reveals that he has planted bombs in Rhea's and Karan's cars, which will explode if they try to escape. He then gives Aditya and Anjali a choice: either they kill Rhea and Karan to avenge their past lives, or they let them live and forgive them.

Aditya and Anjali are conflicted by this choice, as they still have feelings for their partners, but they also remember their past lives and the injustice they faced. They also wonder if they have a future together, or if they are doomed to repeat their cycle of death and rebirth. They decide to follow their hearts, and choose to spare Rhea and Karan, and let go of their hatred and revenge. They also decide to expose the politician and his crimes to the public, and bring him to justice. They then embrace each other, and declare their love for each other.

However, their happiness is short-lived, as Mr. X is enraged by their decision, and decides to kill them himself. He shoots at them, but misses, and hits the politician instead, killing him instantly. He then tries to shoot again, but is stopped by Karan, who shoots him in the chest, fatally wounding him. Mr. X falls to the ground, and dies in Aditya's arms, asking for his forgiveness. Aditya and Anjali are shocked and saddened by his death, but also relieved that their ordeal is over. They then walk away from the scene, holding hands, and hoping for a better future.

He also leaves some room for interpretation and imagination for the viewers to form their own opinions.

The Music and Sound Effects

The movie has a catchy and melodious soundtrack that complements the mood and tone of the movie. The music is composed by Himesh Reshammiya, who has given some hit songs for the movie, such as "Do Chehre", "Tum Hi Ho", "Karma", and "Rehnuma". The songs are well-written, well-composed, and well-sung, and they add to the emotional quotient of the movie.

The movie also has a powerful and effective sound design that enhances the thrill and excitement of the movie. The sound effects are realistic and immersive, and they create a sense of tension and suspense in the audience. The sound effects are especially noticeable in the action scenes, where they amplify the impact and intensity of the fights, chases, explosions, etc. The sound effects also help in creating a contrast between the past and present lives of the characters, by using different sounds for different eras.

The Reception of Do Chehre 2

The Critics' Opinion

The movie has received mixed reviews from the critics, who have praised some aspects of the movie, but also criticized some others. The critics have appreciated the performances of the actors, especially Amitabh Bachchan, who has stolen the show with his brilliant portrayal of Mr. X. They have also lauded the director for his innovative and bold approach to the subject of reincarnation and karma, and for his ability to create a thrilling and engaging story. They have also complimented the music and sound effects of the movie, which have added to its appeal.

However, the critics have also pointed out some flaws and drawbacks of the movie, such as its weak script, poor editing, logical loopholes, and clichéd dialogues. They have also felt that the movie has dragged in some parts, and has been too predictable and repetitive in some others. They have also felt that the movie has failed to explore the depth and complexity of its theme, and has resorted to superficial and sensational treatment. They have also felt that the movie has been too preachy and moralistic in its message, and has ignored the ethical and philosophical implications of its premise.

Some of the critics' reviews are as follows:

  • "Do Chehre 2 is a decent attempt at making a thrilling and entertaining movie on a complex and controversial topic. It has some good performances, some good music, and some good twists. But it also has some bad script, some bad editing, and some bad logic. It is a movie that will keep you hooked till the end, but will also leave you unsatisfied and confused." - Rajeev Masand

  • "Do Chehre 2 is a movie that tries to be too many things at once. It tries to be a romantic drama, an action thriller, a mystery suspense, and a spiritual saga. But it ends up being none of them. It is a movie that has a lot of potential, but wastes it on a poorly written and poorly executed story. It is a movie that has a lot of stars, but fails to shine." - Anupama Chopra

  • "Do Chehre 2 is a movie that surprises you with its boldness and originality. It is a movie that challenges you with its theme and premise. It is a movie that entertains you with its performances and music. But it is also a movie that disappoints you with its flaws and shortcomings. It is a movie that could have been great, but settles for being good." - Taran Adarsh
